The College of Bioindustry Science aims to nurture competent professionals with problem-solving and fieldunderstanding skills necessary for the development of the 21st-century bio industry and advanced agriculture and studies the scientific development and advancement of agricultural production, development of cutting-edge agricultural science and technology, and efficient use of agricultural resources.
In addition, in relation to life sciences, we produce talents who will professionally perform research functions in modern biology and nurture professional manpower who will contribute to the improvement of productivity of biological resources, conservation of the environment, and development of the biological industry.

Traditional food mainly refers to rice, barley, wheat, soybean, corn, etc., but today’s food concept refers to all bio-energy produced by photosynthesis of green plants. At the Department of Well-being Resources, students learn about grain-oriented food crops as well as special crops such as industrial materials, medicinal crops, fodder crops for livestock, and all plants and their products used for food. In the past, the food industry was a primary industry cantered on production; now, however, it is being reborn as a hi-tech comprehensive industry and the health industry wherein advanced life science and information science technology are injected.
