Sunchon National University's Korean Language School is a Korean language educational institution established in 2008 for the purpose of improving Korean language skills and understanding Korean culture for foreigners and overseas Koreans. We seek to improve the Korean language skills of learners by applying the optimal teaching method suitable for each learner’s characteristics, such as entering a Korean university or graduate school or getting a job, and do our best to help learners understand Korean society and Korean culture and adapt well to Korean life through various cultural experiences.

Basic Information
Semester

Two semesters in spring and fall (20 weeks/semester)

Hours

Mon.-Fri. (4 hours/day)

Class organization

About 15 students per class (Organised by elementary, intermediate, and advanced level)

Class structure

Korean (Korean culture) Special activities such as Korean culture experience

Evaluation and completion

Grading every semester (mid-term and final exams, task evaluation, attendance) ☞ Completion when attendance rate of 80% and overall grade of 60 points or higher are obtained
