First established as a national university in 1996, the Department of Photography is classified into pure photography, commercial photography, video, digital photography, and applied photography in keeping with the trend of the times. We are developing and operating subjects so that they can adapt from the arts to IT, CT, and related fields, and they are currently being implemented successfully. The Department of Photography of Sunchon National University, which is the only photography department among national universities, was selected as a national project by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development (NURI) [Culture Professional Human Resources Development Project Group-Large] in 2006.
