The College of Bioindustry Science aims to nurture competent professionals with problem-solving and field understanding skills necessary for the development of the 21st-century bio industry and advanced agriculture and studies the scientific development and advancement of agricultural production, development of cutting-edge agricultural science and technology, and efficient use of agricultural resources.

In addition, in relation to life sciences, we produce talents who will professionally perform research functions in modern biology and nurture professional manpower who will contribute to the improvement of productivity of biological resources, conservation of the environment, and development of the biological industry.

Department introduction

We aim for education and research to contribute to the improvement of productivity of biological resources and the development of environmental conservation technology by applying basic science and biotechnology (BT) such as biology, chemistry, and environmental science, and we also seek to foster professional manpower who will contribute to the development of bio resource production and processing technology using control technology, environmental conservation and restoration technology, and genetic engineering. In particular, we aim to cultivate talents with deep interest and competency in the field of bioenvironment as well as the ability to explore and passion. We systematically manage our students to obtain two or more certifications through personalized education until graduation and equip them with a certain level of language proficiency to help them find employment. We are also strengthening our laboratory practices to develop students’ ability to adapt to industrial settings. In addition, we invite experts in the relevant field to give special lectures and conduct field trips to related companies and public institutions.
