In addition, in relation to life sciences, we produce talents who will professionally perform research functions in modern biology and nurture professional manpower who will contribute to the improvement of productivity of biological resources, conservation of the environment, and development of the biological industry.
Horticulture can be said to be the crystallization of agronomy that grew spontaneously through the integration of comprehensive theories and knowledge of all agriculture. It is the study of vegetable and fruit crops for a healthy diet and flowers and ornamental plants for a beautiful, pleasant living environment. The Department of Horticulture aims to nurture professional managers who can actively participate in the horticultural industry by teaching and researching professional theories and techniques in the field of horticulture, including competent researchers and leaders with character and research ability who can contribute to the specialization and advancement of national and regional agriculture through scientific training and inquiry.
