In response to the 4th industrial revolution, two or more departments (majors) organically integrate academic fields and provide education to nurture talent with convergence capabilities required by society. Regardless of department, anyone can take a single major or a double major.

Digital Wellcare Convergence Major

"Welcome to the Digital Wellcare Convergence Major."

Digital Wellcare is an interdisciplinary major grounded in personalized health services that support the management of physical, mental, emotional, and aesthetic wellness while promoting disease prevention. The program aims to cultivate wellcare professionals with strong digital communication and data analysis capabilities through specialized education in these related fields.

Educational Goals

  • Our goal is to cultivate interdisciplinary wellcare professionals equipped with digital communication, data analysis, and network coordination skills. These specialists integrate knowledge and technologies from social welfare, food and nutrition, sports science, pharmacy, and IT to promote healthy lifestyles and enhance quality of life in their communities. This is achieved through digital health and welfare management, healthcare coordination, and the development, implementation, and management of social network services. The program provides education in four core areas:
    • 1. Foundational knowledge of healthy living
    • 2. Wellcare data literacy and application
    • 3. Wellcare service technology and program development
    • 4. Practical wellcare service practice capabilities

Core Competencies

Wellcare Service Technology and Program Development Competency: Ability to develop user-centered service technologies and programs across social welfare, food and nutrition, sports science, and pharmacy through the integration of human-centered design with data-driven scientific and technological approaches.

Wellcare Service Practice Competency: Ability to assess service users' functional needs and communication requirements, deliver personalized ICT-based wellcare services, and effectively manage, operate, and improve service delivery systems.

Qualifications and Career Paths

The program provides comprehensive education on theories and technologies related to digital health management across academic disciplines. In conjunction with students' primary majors, they can obtain qualifications such as social worker certification, nutritionist certification, (associate) data analysis specialist, and ITQ certification.
