The College of Future Convergence focuses on systematic theoretical learning and practical education capabilities, with the goal of realizing new industrial fields required in the era of the 4th industrial revolution and lifelong learning for adult learners, and on nurturing professionals customized to consumers. As a special admissions department for industrial workers, the Department of Convergence Industry operates as a night course so that they can study while at work. It aims to train leaders who can play a role and contribute to the development of the local community and the country. In particular, the Department of Convergence Industry has been selected as the “Department of University that Leads Pathways after Employment” by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology since 2012, contributing to nurturing talented people who lead the development of the Gwangyang Bay area with excellent instructors, cutting-edge educational facilities, and specialised program education for industrial workers only.
