The Department of Animal Resources Science is a department with infinite development potential in the field of advanced science in the 21st century; as interest in life science increases, the field is expanding day by day. At this point in time when food issues are becoming an important strategic issue worldwide, it takes the lead in providing specialised education for the development and supply of animal food resources for mankind.
To play a pioneering role in educational research in the field of life sciences, students in the department learn theories and practical skills related to breeding and improvement of high-quality livestock, development of functional bio feed, and efficient production, processing, and management of livestock products such as Korean dairy products and sausages through systematic theoretical education and experimental practice.
In addition, from the cultural and medical aspects, we foster professional manpower for the realization of life extension through the creation of added value via the production and breeding of pet s, raising and training, and production of bio organs through genetic engineering and stem cell research.
