- 중소기업의 디지털 전환, 생성형 AI로 앞당긴다

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운) 산학협력교육센터와 미래산업인재양성사업단은 지역 강소기업 육성과 첨단 기술 기반 역량 강화를 위한 ‘2025 첨단기술 기반 중소기업 역량강화 세미나’를 지난 20일 개최했다. 이번 행사는 Hyper-AI&ESG 검증심사연구소와 공동으로 주관했으며, 총 42개 기업 관계자를 포함해 약 60명이 참석했다.

이번 세미나는 국립순천대학교가 추진 중인 글로컬대학30의 ‘강소지역기업 500개 육성’ 및 국가인적자원개발컨소시엄사업의 ‘대중소기업 상생을 위한 인력양성 생태계 구축’ 전략의 일환으로 마련됐다. 주요내용은 ▲중소기업의 디지털 전환 대응, ▲ISO 인증 역량 강화 ▲정부지원제도 실무 안내 ▲산학협력 기반의 미래인재 양성 등 지역 중소기업의 경쟁력 제고를 목표로 기획되었다.

총 4시간 동안 진행된 세미나는 동양대학교 심흥섭 교수가 ‘ChatGPT 및 생성형 AI 활용 사례와 교육 방안’을 주제로 첫 강연을 열며, 인공지능 기술이 중소기업 현장에 적용되는 실제 사례와 활용 교육 모델을 소개했다.

이어진 강의에서는 ‘ISO 인증심사원 자격취득 지원 프로그램’, ‘바우처 사업 안내’ 등을 통해 기업 실무자들에게 맞춤형 지원 정보를 제공했다. 특히, ㈜케이지에이치 김현 대표가 발표한 ‘E-7 비자 외국인 채용 사업 안내’는 외국인 근로자 채용에 어려움을 겪는 제조업계에게 실질적인 인력난 해소 대안으로 주목받았다.

또한, 국립순천대학교 산학협력단은 글로컬대학30, RISE 등 국책사업과 연계한 인턴십 프로그램 및 국가인적자원개발컨소시엄사업을 소개하며, 대학-기업 간 지속가능한 성장 생태계 조성을 위한 구축 방향을 제시했다.

이번 세미나는 만족도 조사에서 높은 평가를 받았으며, 참여 기업 관계자들은 “강소기업 지원 방안과 정부 사업 설명이 실질적인 도움이 되었다”는 의견과 함께, “AI 및 ESG 관련 교육이 매우 유익했고, 이후에도 심화된 후속 교육이 계속 이어지길 바란다”는 기대감을 나타냈다. 특히 “인력 및 인프라 제공 등 대학의 실질적인 기업 지원 의지가 느껴졌다”는 긍정적 평가와 함께, “현장에서 바로 적용 가능한 정보가 많아 매우 유익한 시간이었다”는 반응도 이어졌다.

한편, 미래산업인재양성사업단 심현 단장은 “이번 세미나는 단순한 정보 전달을 넘어, 지역 내 중소기업이 자생적으로 성장할 수 있는 기술·인재·정책 인프라를 연결하는 허브 역할을 수행했다”며 “앞으로도 지역 맞춤형 기술자문, 현장 중심 인턴십, 정부 사업 연계를 통해 ‘강소기업 500개 육성’이라는 대학의 중장기 목표를 구체화해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Sunchon National University Hosts Advanced Technology Seminar to Support Local SMEs' Digital Transformation with Generative AI

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon), in collaboration with its Industry-Academia Cooperation Education Center and Advanced Industry Talent Development Center, held the 2025 Advanced Technology-Based SME Capacity-Building Seminar on June 20. Co-hosted with the Hyper-AI & ESG Verification Research Institute, the event welcomed approximately 60 participants, including representatives from 42 local enterprises.

This seminar was part of the university’s strategic initiatives under the Glocal University 30 project to foster 500 high-potential local SMEs, and aligned with the National HRD Consortium’s mission to build a collaborative talent development ecosystem for large and small businesses. Key topics included digital transformation strategies for SMEs, ISO certification capacity enhancement, practical guidance on government support programs, and the role of university-industry cooperation in cultivating future talent.

The four-hour event opened with a keynote by Professor Shim Heung-seop from Dongyang University, who introduced real-world applications of ChatGPT and generative AI in SMEs, along with effective educational models for technology integration in the workplace. Follow-up sessions provided practical information on acquiring ISO auditor certifications, government voucher programs, and foreign labor visa systems.

A highlight of the seminar was a presentation by Kim Hyun, CEO of KGH Co., on the E-7 visa program for hiring foreign professionals?an urgent topic for manufacturing companies facing labor shortages. The session offered actionable insights and policy guidance to address on-site workforce challenges.

The university’s Industry-Academia Cooperation Foundation also introduced internship and talent development programs linked to national projects such as Glocal University 30 and RISE, emphasizing long-term collaboration between academia and business to build a sustainable local innovation ecosystem.

Post-event feedback indicated high satisfaction, with company representatives noting the practicality of the AI and ESG education sessions. Many praised the university’s strong commitment to SME support, stating that the information provided was "immediately applicable" and "extremely valuable for real business environments."

Director Shim Hyun of the Advanced Industry Talent Development Center remarked, “This seminar went beyond knowledge-sharing. It served as a hub connecting technology, talent, and policy to help local SMEs grow independently.” He added that the university will continue to realize its mid- to long-term goal of nurturing 500 regional enterprises through tailored consulting, on-site internships, and government-linked training programs.
