- Green Loops팀 우수상, FM5팀, 엘지팀 각각 장려상 수상

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 지난 5월 17일 부산 동아대학교에서 열린 한국경영컨설팅학회 대학생 경진대회에서 학부생 3개 팀이 수상하는 성과를 거두었다고 밝혔다. 이날 대회에서 국립순천대 Green Loops팀이 우수상을, FM5팀과 엘지팀이 각각 장려상을 수상했다.

한국경영컨설팅학회(회장 조연성)는 전국 대학생들의 기업 분석 능력과 발표 역량 강화를 위해 대학생 경진대회를 개최했다. 이번 대회는 국립순천대를 비롯해 국민대, 광운대, 중앙대, 숙명여대, 이화여대, 한양대 등 전국 23개 대학에서 총 42개 팀, 약 200명이 참가해 6개 분과에서 치열한 경쟁을 펼쳤다.

우수상을 수상한 Green Loops팀(무역학전공 김다은, 최미연, 장한별, 박현민, 김오성, 환경공학과 정윤호, 융합바이오시스템기계공학 김승아)은 ‘탄소 배출의 블라인드 스팟, 건물: Green LoopS로 여는 한국 건축의 순환 미래’라는 주제로 발표했다. 이들은 건축 분야 탄소 배출에 관심을 가질 필요가 있다는 문제의식을 바탕으로 발표를 준비해 심사위원들로부터 좋은 평가를 얻었다.

또한, FM5팀(무역학전공 김예진, 구본웅, 노현준, 박은비, 박혜종)은 ‘정체된 주택연금 제도, 초고령 사회에 필요한 대응전략은 무엇인가’라는 주제로 장려상을 수상했다. 이들은 현재 주택연금 제도를 다각도로 분석하고, 초고령 사회에 맞는 방향성을 체계적으로 제시해 많은 박수를 받았다.

마지막으로 엘지팀(무역학전공 이엘림, 중어중문학과 이지형)은 ‘윤리적 소비 선도 브랜드 더 바디샵의 하락과 미래전략’을 발표해 장려상을 수상했다. 엘지팀은 동물실험 반대의 시초였던 더 바디샵에 초점을 맞추고 해당 기업의 추락과 반등을 위한 전략을 제시해 청중들의 관심을 끌었다.

경진대회를 마친 Green Loops팀은 “처음에는 낯선 분야라 도전이 걱정됐지만, 준비하면서 배운 것도 많고 팀원들과 의견을 모으는 과정이 정말 재밌었다.”라며, “무엇보다 발표에서 우리가 준비한 메시지가 잘 전달돼서 뿌듯하다”라고 소감을 전했다. FM5팀은 “주택연금이라는 정책을 깊이 분석하고 발표를 준비하면서 사회 현상과 정책을 보는 눈이 넓어졌고, 팀원들과 함께 협업하며 완성해 낸 것도 좋은 경험이었다”라고 밝혔다.

마지막으로 엘지팀은 “처음에는 막연했지만, 발표를 준비하면서 실제 사례와 이론이 맞닿는 걸 체감할 수 있어서 정말 뜻깊었다. 다른 팀들의 발표도 큰 자극이 됐고, 다음엔 더 좋은 결과를 내고 싶다”라는 소감을 남겼다.

한편, 학생들을 지도한 국립순천대 이재은 교수는 “이번 대회를 준비하며 우리 학생들이 한층 성장할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었기를 바란다. 앞으로도 학생 역량 강화를 위한 다양한 교육 기회를 제공하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Sunchon National University Teams Win Awards at 2025 Undergraduate Consulting Competition

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) announced that three undergraduate student teams received awards at the 2025 Undergraduate Consulting Competition hosted by the Korean Association of Business Consulting, held on May 17 at Dong-A University in Busan. The Green Loops team won the Excellence Award, while the FM5 and LG teams each received Encouragement Awards.

The competition, organized by the Korean Association of Business Consulting (President Cho Yeon-seong), was designed to strengthen university students’ business analysis and presentation skills. A total of 42 teams from 23 universities nationwide?including Kookmin University, Hanyang University, Chung-Ang University, Ewha Womans University, and others?competed across six divisions, drawing around 200 participants.

The Green Loops team (Dae-eun Kim, Mi-yeon Choi, Han-byeol Jang, Hyun-min Park, Oh-seong Kim, Yun-ho Jeong, and Seung-a Kim) won the Excellence Award with a presentation titled “The Blind Spot of Carbon Emissions: Buildings ? A Circular Future for Korean Architecture Through Green LoopS.” Their work emphasized the urgent need to address carbon emissions in the construction sector and was well received by judges for its originality and relevance.

The FM5 team (Ye-jin Kim, Bon-ung Koo, Hyun-jun Noh, Eun-bi Park, and Hye-jong Park) received an Encouragement Award for their presentation “The Stagnant Reverse Mortgage System: Strategic Directions for an Aging Society.” The team conducted a multi-perspective analysis of the current policy and offered comprehensive strategies tailored to Korea’s super-aged demographic.

The LG team (El-lim Lee and Ji-hyung Lee) also received an Encouragement Award for their analysis of “The Rise and Fall of The Body Shop: Future Strategies for an Ethical Brand.” Their presentation focused on The Body Shop’s legacy as a pioneer of cruelty-free cosmetics and proposed turnaround strategies to restore its market presence, drawing strong interest from the audience.

The Green Loops team shared, “It was our first time tackling this subject, so we were nervous, but the research process was fun and educational. We’re proud that our message came across clearly during the presentation.” The FM5 team added, “Analyzing public policy helped us gain a broader view of social issues, and working closely as a team made it a truly rewarding experience.” The LG team reflected, “At first, it felt vague and difficult, but as we prepared, we saw how real-world cases align with theory. It was inspiring to learn from other teams, and we’re motivated to do even better next time.”

Professor Lee Jae-eun, who advised the student teams, commented, “I hope this competition provided a valuable opportunity for our students to grow. We will continue offering diverse learning experiences to further develop their capabilities.”
