Economics is the study of economic problems arising in the process of economic entities producing, exchanging, distributing, and consuming goods and services. Modern economics provides a purposeful vision for the future for the development of human society while exploring ways to achieve key economic goals of growth, stability, and equity.
The basic goal of education in this department is to cultivate practical economic experts based on economic understanding and rational judgement. We encourage students to learn both Theoretical Economics and Applied Economics, so that they can develop a social science perspective for understanding economic phenomena and practicality to ap ply them to the real economy. In addition to Economics, we provide students with opportunities to study a wide range of fields, such as accounting, business administration, and trade, so that students can comprehensively compare and analyse social and economic phenomena and build academic literacy to choose various career paths after graduation.
