- 국립순천대 평생교육 지역거점센터 11월 구례군에 설치 예정

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운) 평생교육스쿨은 오는 9월 26일(금) 구례군 평생학습관에서 지역 학부모를 대상으로 “부모의 기질이 양육을 바꾼다”라는 주제의 부모교육 및 심리 특강을 개최한다고 밝혔다. 이번 특강은 국립순천대학교 평생교육스쿨과 구례군이 공동으로 마련했다.

이번 강의는 자녀 양육에 있어 부모의 기질을 이해하고, 이를 기반으로 한 긍정적인 양육 방법을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 강의는 국립순천대학교 주지영 학술연구교수가 맡으며, 강의 내용은 ▲기질에 관한 이론 ▲검사 결과를 통한 나의 기질 분석 ▲나의 기질에 따른 양육 방법 학습 등으로 구성된다.

특히, 참여자들이 사전 신청을 통해 온라인으로 TCI(기질 및 성격 검사)를 실시 후 자신의 기질을 파악하고, 검사 결과를 토대로 강의를 들을 수 있도록 구성한 것이 이번 강의의 특징이다.

문승태 평생교육원장은 “이번 부모교육 특강을 통해 단순한 강의 차원을 넘어 학부모 스스로 자신의 기질을 이해하고, 자녀와의 관계를 개선할 수 있는 계기가 될 것이고, 앞으로도 다양한 평생교육 프로그램을 통해 지역사회 내 평생학습 문화가 정착될 수 있도록 지원을 확대해 나갈 계획이다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 평생교육스쿨은 구례군과 함께 평생교육 지역거점 센터를 설치할 예정이다. 현재 구례군에서는 국립순천대의 지원으로 ▲지역 맞춤형 평생교육과정(미술심리상담사, 헤어미용기능사) 2개 과정이 운영되고 있으며, 향후 ▲교양아카데미(원데이클래스, 명사초청특강)를 확대 운영해 지역 주민의 평생학습 기회를 넓혀갈 계획이다.

SCNU Lifelong Education School Hosts Special Lecture on Parenting and Psychology for Residents of Gurye

- Lifelong Education Regional Hub Center to be established in Gurye in November

Sunchon National University (SCNU, President Lee Byung-woon) announced that its Lifelong Education School will hold a special lecture on parenting and psychology for local parents under the theme “Parent Temperament Shapes Parenting” on September 26 at the Gurye Lifelong Learning Center. The event is jointly organized by SCNU’s Lifelong Education School and Gurye County.

The lecture aims to help parents understand their own temperaments and apply this knowledge to adopt more positive parenting methods. It will be delivered by Professor Ju Ji-young of SCNU and will cover topics such as theories of temperament, self-assessment and analysis of individual temperament, and parenting approaches tailored to one’s temperament.

In particular, participants were invited to complete an online Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) prior to the lecture. The program is designed so that parents can better understand their results and reflect on them during the lecture, making the session more personalized and practical.

Moon Seung-tae, Dean of the SCNU Lifelong Education School, stated, “This special lecture goes beyond theory and offers parents an opportunity to understand their own temperament and improve relationships with their children. Moving forward, we will continue to expand various lifelong education programs to help establish a strong culture of lifelong learning within the local community.”

Meanwhile, SCNU’s Lifelong Education School will establish a Lifelong Education Regional Hub Center in Gurye this November. Currently, with support from SCNU, Gurye County is operating two customized lifelong education programs?the Art Therapy Counselor course and the Hairdressing Technician course. In the future, the county plans to expand its offerings to include a Liberal Arts Academy with one-day classes and special lectures by guest speakers, thereby broadening lifelong learning opportunities for local residents.
