- 고흥군에서 1박 2일로 ‘그린스마트팜 ICC(기업협업센터) 연계 지산학 워크숍’ 열어

- 지·산·학·관 관계자 60여 명 참여해 정책·기술·R&D 전망 공유와 종합토의 … 현장 연계형 혁신 방향 모색

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 8월 20일부터 21일까지 이틀간 고흥썬밸리 동백홀에서 ‘그린스마트팜 ICC(기업협업센터) 연계 지산학 워크숍’을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 워크숍은 지역 특화산업인 스마트농업을 중심으로 산·학·관 협력 기반을 강화하고, 지산학캠퍼스의 지속가능한 운영 전략을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

이번 행사에는 고흥군 양국진 부군수, 국립순천대 문승태 대외협력부총장, 남기창 교학부총장, 그린스마트팜 고흥캠퍼스 이상석 단장을 비롯해 기업체 관계자 등 총 60여 명이 참석했다.

국립순천대 그린스마트팜 고흥캠퍼스 현장 견학으로 시작한 워크숍 1일 차에는 ▲전남 스마트농업 정책 방향(유덕규 전남도 식량원예과장) ▲우주농업 기술동향(박종석 충남대 교수) ▲스마트농업 R&D 산업 전망(박종락 IPET 실장) 등 전문가 강연과 그린스마트팜 ICC 추진 과제 발표, 자유토론을 통해 기업·지자체·대학 간 협력 아이디어를 논의하는 시간이 마련됐다.

이튿날에는 국립순천대 그린스마트팜 고흥캠퍼스의 3차년도 주요사업 전략 발표와 함께 ▲지산학캠퍼스 효율적 운영 방안 ▲성과 창출 전략 ▲지속가능성 확보 방안을 주제로 종합토의가 진행됐다. 국립순천대 교수진과 지역 농업 전문가, 지역산업체 대표 등 관계자들이 한자리에 모여 현장 실무교육 및 R&D 협력 가능성을 심도 있게 논의했다.

문승태 대외협력부총장은 “이번 워크숍은 국립순천대와 고흥군, 그리고 지역 기업이 함께 미래 농업의 혁신 방향을 설계하는 뜻깊은 자리였다”라며, “스마트농업을 중심으로 교육과 연구, 산업이 연계된 지역 기반 생태계를 구축하고, 산학협력을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”라고 밝혔다.

국립순천대학교는 이번 워크숍을 계기로 고흥군과 함께 스마트농업 기반 지산학캠퍼스를 실질적 지역 혁신 거점으로 성장시키고, 농업 현장과 연계된 기술 상용화와 전문인재 양성을 위한 협력체계를 한층 강화해 나갈 계획이다.

SCNU and Goheung County Host Industry-Academia-Government Workshop on Smart Agriculture Innovation

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) held the “Green Smart Farm ICC (Industry Collaboration Center) Workshop” on August 20?21 at the Sun Valley Dongbaek Hall in Goheung. The two-day event aimed to strengthen industry-academia-government cooperation in the regional smart agriculture sector and discuss sustainable strategies for the university’s Ji-San-Hak (Region-Industry-Academia) campus.

More than 60 participants attended, including Yang Guk-jin, Vice Governor of Goheung County, Moon Seung-tae, Vice President for External Affairs at SCNU, Nam Ki-chang, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Lee Sang-seok, Head of the Green Smart Farm Goheung Campus, along with industry representatives.

The first day featured a site visit to the SCNU Green Smart Farm Goheung Campus followed by expert lectures: Jeon Nam-do’s agricultural policy outlook (Yoo Deok-gyu, Director of the Food and Horticulture Division), space agriculture technology trends (Prof. Park Jong-seok, Chungnam National University), and R&D prospects for smart agriculture (Park Jong-rak, Director at IPET). The program also included presentations on ICC projects and open discussions among university, government, and corporate participants.

On the second day, SCNU presented its Year 3 strategies for the Green Smart Farm Goheung Campus, followed by in-depth discussions on efficient campus management, performance strategies, and long-term sustainability. Professors, local agricultural experts, and industry leaders explored opportunities for hands-on training and collaborative R&D.

Vice President Moon Seung-tae emphasized, “This workshop provided a meaningful platform for SCNU, Goheung County, and local companies to design the future direction of agricultural innovation. We will continue to expand industry-academia collaboration and build a region-based ecosystem where education, research, and industry are interconnected.”

SCNU plans to leverage this workshop as a stepping stone to strengthen its partnership with Goheung County, positioning the Green Smart Farm Ji-San-Hak Campus as a hub for regional innovation. The university will focus on linking agricultural field practices with technology commercialization and professional talent development to foster sustainable growth in smart agriculture.
