- ‘G-SCNU 직무체험형 인턴’ 운영 등 지역 청년 취업·일자리 협력 맞손

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 8월 19일, 대학 본부 중회의실에서 전남CBS(대표 조충남)와 지역사회 상생발전과 청년 인재 양성을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협약식에는 국립순천대학교 이병운 총장을 비롯해 최수임 학생처장 겸 인재개발본부장, 김규환 대외협력과장, 권양익 취업지원실장이 참석했으며, 전남CBS에서는 조충남 대표, 오현주 경영기획국장, 안효경 보도제작국장, 고영호 기자가 함께했다.

협약을 통해 양 기관은 △「G-SCNU 직무체험형 인턴」 운영을 위한 협업 및 정보 공유 △대학 주관 기업탐방, 채용설명회 및 특강 참여 △청년 일자리 발굴 및 지원을 위한 취·창업 정보 공유 △그 밖에 양 기관의 상생 발전을 위한 협력 분야 등에서 긴밀히 협력할 예정이다.

이병운 총장은 “이번 협약은 대학과 지역 언론이 힘을 모아 청년 일자리 창출과 지역사회 발전을 모색하는 의미 있는 출발점”이라며, “앞으로도 지역과 함께 성장하며 공공의 가치를 실현하는 대학으로서 역할을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

전남CBS 조충남 대표는 “국립순천대학교와의 협력을 통해 지역 청년들의 목소리에 더욱 귀 기울이고, 지역사회와 상생할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램과 협력 기회를 발굴해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 국립순천대학교는‘지역과 함께하는 대학’이라는 정체성을 바탕으로 전남CBS와 협력하여 청년 지원과 지역 공동체 발전을 위한 다양한 사업을 적극 추진할 계획이다.

Sunchon National University Partners with Jeonnam CBS to Support Youth Employment and Regional Development

- Collaboration on “G-SCNU Job Experience Internship” and joint efforts to create opportunities for young people

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) announced on August 19 that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jeonnam CBS (CEO Cho Chung-nam) to foster youth talent and promote shared growth with the local community. The signing ceremony took place in the university’s main conference room.

Attendees included President Lee Byung-woon, Choi Soo-im (Dean of Student Affairs and Head of the Career Development Center), Kim Kyu-hwan (Director of External Cooperation), and Kwon Yang-ik (Head of Career Support) from Sunchon National University, as well as CEO Cho Chung-nam, Oh Hyun-joo (Director of Business Planning), Ahn Hyo-kyung (Director of News Production), and reporter Ko Young-ho from Jeonnam CBS.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate closely on: Operating and sharing resources for the “G-SCNU Job Experience Internship” program, Participating in university-led company visits, job fairs, and special lectures, Sharing employment and entrepreneurship information to support youth job creation, Promoting other areas of cooperation for mutual growth and community development

President Lee stated, “This agreement marks an important starting point for the university and local media to join forces in creating youth employment opportunities and fostering regional development. Sunchon National University will continue to grow with the community and fulfill its role as a university that realizes public value.”

CEO Cho Chung-nam of Jeonnam CBS added, “Through this partnership, we will listen more closely to the voices of young people in the region and work to discover programs and opportunities that support both youth and the local community.”

With this agreement, Sunchon National University reaffirms its identity as a “university working with the community” and plans to actively pursue diverse initiatives with Jeonnam CBS to support young people and contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
