- 지역산업 맞춤형 훈련체계로 글로컬대학30 목표 실현 발판 마련

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운) 미래산업인재양성사업단은 지난 5월 30일 산학협력관에서 ‘2025년도 국립순천대학교 공동훈련센터 벤치마킹 행사’를 개최했다. 이번 행사는 고용노동부 국가인적자원개발컨소시엄사업 유형 ‘산업맞춤형’ 및 ‘K-하이테크 플랫폼’ 사업의 우수 운영 성과를 공유하고, 기관 간 협력을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에는 서남권 공동훈련센터 및 허브사업단 관계자 등 직업훈련 유관기관 관계자들이 참석했으며, ▲우수 운영사례 발표 ▲시설 및 실습장 투어 ▲공동과제 논의 등의 프로그램으로 구성되었다. 특히 성과 중심 훈련모델(3S System)의 확산과 기관 간 상호 협력 기반 강화를 목적으로 열렸다.

국립순천대학교 공동훈련센터는 2024년 K-하이테크 플랫폼 사업 평가에서 ▲성과지표 기반 훈련 운영 ▲스마트캠퍼스를 활용한 디지털 전환 대응 ▲기업 수요 연계 프로그램 설계 등에서 모범적인 성과를 인정받아 전국 우수기관으로 선정된 바 있다. 또한, 국가인적자원개발컨소시엄사업(산업맞춤형) 2024년도 성과평가에서도 A등급을 획득하며 우수한 운영 역량을 다시 한번 입증했다.

특히 2025년 한 해 동안 훈련목표 100명 대비 314명 수료, 총 8,024시간에 걸쳐 1,541명이 인프라를 활용하는 등 정량적 성과를 달성하며 훈련의 실효성과 현장성과 모두를 입증했다.

이와 같은 성과는 국립순천대학교가 추진 중인 ‘글로컬대학30’ 사업의 핵심 전략인 ‘지역 강소기업 500개 육성’과 맞닿은 방향성을 지니며, 향후 지역 산업체와의 유기적 연계를 통해 실질적인 기업 성장 기반 조성에 기여할 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.

행사에서는 공동훈련센터의 ▲운영 시스템 ▲과정 개발 구조 ▲성과관리 체계 ▲산학협력 모델 등에 대한 구체적인 운영 방식이 소개되었으며, 참여 기관들로부터 현장 적용 가능성과 실효성 측면에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

미래산업인재양성사업단 심현 단장은 “K-하이테크 플랫폼 우수기관으로서의 성과를 공유함과 동시에, 지역 기반 대학이 주도하는 훈련모델이 어떻게 산업수요와 교육체계를 연결하고 확장할 수 있는지 보여주는 의미 있는 자리였다”며, “앞으로도 지역 산업과 함께 성장하는 훈련 기반 구축을 통해 강소기업 생태계 조성에 지속 기여할 것”이라고 전했다.

한편, 국립순천대학교는 이번 벤치마킹 행사를 계기로 타 기관과의 협업을 더욱 공고히 하고, 성과 중심 훈련 체계와 대학 기반 플랫폼 연계를 통해 ‘글로컬대학30’ 실현을 위한 실천적 모델을 지속 확산할 계획이다.

Sunchon National University Shares Best Practices in HRD Consortium Project as a National Model Institution

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) hosted the 2025 Benchmarking Workshop of the Joint Training Center on May 30 at its Industry-Academia Cooperation Hall. The event was organized by the university’s Advanced Industry Talent Development Center to share best practices from the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s National Human Resources Development Consortium Project, including the Industry-Customized and K-Hi-Tech Platform programs, and to strengthen collaboration among partner institutions.

The event brought together key stakeholders from job training institutions, including representatives from the Southwest Joint Training Centers and national hub organizations. The program featured presentations of best practices, facility tours, and collaborative discussions, with a focus on expanding the university’s performance-based training model?the 3S System?and reinforcing inter-institutional cooperation.

Sunchon National University’s Joint Training Center was previously recognized as a top-performing institution in the 2024 K-Hi-Tech Platform evaluation. The university was commended for its data-driven training system, digital transformation readiness through smart campus infrastructure, and demand-linked program design. It also received an “A” rating in the 2024 performance review for the Industry-Customized track of the HRD Consortium Project.

In 2025 alone, the center surpassed its annual training goal of 100 by producing 314 graduates, with 1,541 trainees utilizing a total of 8,024 hours of infrastructure. These achievements underscore both the effectiveness and real-world applicability of the university’s job training programs.

These outcomes directly support the university’s Glocal University 30 initiative, particularly its strategy to foster 500 regional small but strong enterprises. By aligning training efforts with local industry needs, the university aims to build a solid foundation for business growth and sustainable innovation.

During the workshop, detailed presentations were delivered on the center’s operational system, curriculum development process, performance management framework, and industry-academia cooperation model. Participating institutions praised the replicability and effectiveness of the university’s integrated training structure.

Director Shim Hyun of the Advanced Industry Talent Development Center stated, “This workshop was a meaningful opportunity to showcase how a regional university-led model can effectively link industrial demand with scalable training systems.” He added, “We will continue to build a strong training ecosystem that grows alongside local industries and contributes to the development of a regional small enterprise ecosystem.”

Going forward, Sunchon National University plans to deepen inter-institutional collaboration and expand its university-based, performance-centered training model to help realize the goals of the Glocal University 30 project.
