- 진로·취업 목표 공유하는 재학생 185명 참여…연말 우수 동아리에는 장학금 혜택도

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운) 대학일자리플러스센터는 지난 29일 학생회관 문화강당에서 ‘2025학년도 학과별 학생취업 동아리 오리엔테이션’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

‘학과별 학생취업 동아리’는 비슷한 진로·취업 목표를 가진 학생들이 함께 모여 정보를 공유하고 취업역량을 강화할 수 있도록 자격증 응시료와 교재 구입비 등을 지원하는 프로그램이다. 

직무별 취업 준비부터 어학 스터디, 자격증 취득까지 다양한 주제에 맞춰 대면·비대면 방식으로 자유롭게 활동할 수 있으며, 연말 활동 평가를 통해 우수 동아리와 우수 학생에게는 장학금도 지급할 예정이다.

이번 오리엔테이션에는 총 185명의 재학생이 참여했으며, △동아리 운영 목적 △의무 활동 사항 △활동 평가 및 장학금 지급 계획 등을 안내했다. 또한 질의응답을 통해 동아리 운영 방향과 구체적인 지원 내용에 대한 활발한 소통이 이루어졌다.

국립순천대 정정조 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “유능한 인재들이 진로 설계와 취업역량 강화에 집중할 수 있도록, 동아리 활동을 비롯한 다양한 프로그램을 통해 세심하게 지원하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

Sunchon National University Holds 2025 Orientation for Departmental Career Clubs

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) announced that its University Job Plus Center held the 2025 Orientation for Departmental Career Clubs on May 29 at the Student Hall Cultural Auditorium.

The Departmental Career Club program supports students with similar career goals by helping them form peer groups where they can share information and enhance their employability. The university provides financial assistance for certification exam fees and textbook purchases to support these efforts.

The clubs are free to operate in-person or online, and cover a wide range of activities?from job-specific training and language study groups to certification preparation. Outstanding clubs and individuals will be recognized with scholarships based on activity evaluations at the end of the year.

A total of 185 students participated in the orientation, which introduced the purpose of the program, mandatory participation guidelines, the evaluation process, and scholarship opportunities. A Q&A session also allowed for active discussion about club operations and the specifics of university support.

Jung Jung-jo, Director of the University Job Plus Center, stated, “We are committed to providing detailed support through a variety of programs, including career clubs, so that talented students can focus on planning their future careers and strengthening their job readiness.”
