2025 순천만 생태예술제 포럼 (제2회)

방향: 

- 2월 2일 세계 습지의 날을 맞이하여 순천만 습지와 관련된 생태문화에 대한 포럼, 공연, 전시 등을 하여 지역의 청소년, 주민들과 공유하고 감상하는 기회를 제공한다. 

- 지자체 및 민간단체 등 관련 기관과 협력을 하면서 생태 관련 문화예술의 글로컬 역량을 드높이고 순천의 고유한 생태환경 예술을 공감하는 플랫폼을 창출한다.

행사 비중: 

순천만 습지와 두루미를 주제로 하는 재미있는 내용, 렉처 퍼포먼스, 시민 참여형 체험 활동 등을 통해 예술가들이 교류하고 참여하면서 가치있는 활동의 방향으로 지속적으로 이어감 (시민의 아이디어로 참여형 축제로 지향)

두루미과학예술센터는 전영국 순천대학교 교수(센터장)의 기획을 토대로 미국 국제두루미재단과 협력하면서 순천만습지와 두루미에 관한 과학예술 탐구를 토대로 융합형 공연 콘텐츠를 개발하는데 적극적인 활동을 펼치고 있다.

 한국국제문화교류진흥원(KOFICE)의 지원을 받아서 2019년 5월에 프랑스 낭트시에서 개최된 “한국의 봄” 축제에 순천만 컨퍼런스를 개최하여 흑두루미 스토리텔링 및 창작춤을 선보였다.

  또한 2021년 11월에 순천시 문화도시의 민간국제교류 사업의 일환으로 한중일 두루미를 주제로 일본 이즈미시의 타악 음악과 중국 닝보시의 백로 영상을 활용하여 콜라보 공연을 진행하였다.

  2022년 3월에 <거믄 두루미의 고백> 공연을 비롯하여 2023년 10월에 순천만국가정원에서 <순천만정원의 두루미꽃춤> 공연을 하였다. 그 외에도 XR 기반 스튜디오에서 <순천만정원 두루미춤> 영상을 제작한 바 있다. 11월에 <원로예술인공연지원사업>으로 순천만과 철원에서 <정원에서 나온 새> 다원 공연을 진행하였다.

  2024년에 순천시 문화예술과 지원으로 <애니메이션 기반 순천만 갯벌 두루미의 융합 퍼포먼스>를 창작하였다. 또한 전남문화재단의 지원을 받아 오천그린광장에서 <두루미 인형극 기반 선암차 연희-락> 공연을 선보여 관객의 반응이 좋았으며 순천만습지공원에서 후속 공연을 진행하였다.

2025 Suncheon Bay Ecological Arts Festival Forum (2nd)

- Before and after International Wetlands Day on February 2, forums, performances, and exhibitions on ecological culture related to Suncheon Bay wetlands will be held to provide opportunities to share and appreciate citizens, local youth, and residents.

- Artists will continue to exchange and participate in the direction of valuable activities through interesting contents, lecture performances, and citizen participation activities on the theme of Suncheon Bay wetlands and cranes.

Introduction to Crane Science and Arts Center

Based on the planning of Suncheon National University Professor Youngcook Jun (Center Director), the Crane Science and Arts Center is actively engaged in developing convergence performance content based on scientific and artistic exploration of the Suncheon Bay Wetland and cranes in cooperation with the International Crane Foundation of the United States.

 With support from the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), the Suncheon Bay Conference was held at the “Korean Spring” festival held in Nantes, France in May 2019, and featured hooded crane storytelling and creative dance.

  Additionally, in November 2021, as part of Suncheon City's cultural city's private international exchange project, a collaboration performance was conducted using percussion music from Izumi City, Japan and a white heron video from Ningbo City, China, under the theme of cranes between Korea, China and Japan.

  In March 2022, 'Confessions of a Crane' was performed, and in October 2023, 'Suncheon Bay Garden Crane Flower Dance' was performed at Suncheon Bay National Garden. In addition, the video 'Suncheon Bay Garden Crane Dance' was produced in an XR-based studio. In November, a tea garden performance of 'Bird from the Garden' was held in Suncheon Bay and Cheorwon under the 'Senior Artist Performance Support Project'.

  In 2024, with the support of Suncheon City Culture and Arts Department, 'Animation-based Convergence Performance of Suncheon Bay Tidal Flat Cranes' was created. In addition, with the support of the Jeonnam Cultural Foundation, the performance 'Seonam Tea Play-Joy based on Crane Puppet Theater' was presented at Ocheon Green Square and received a good response from the audience, and a follow-up performance was held at Suncheon Bay Wetland Park.
