- 지역 강소기업 성장과 산학연 협력의 새로운 연결고리 마련

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 12월 11일부터 12일까지 신라스테이 여수에서 「2025년 국립순천대학교 기업협업센터(ICC) 육성 포럼」을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 지역 강소기업과 ICC 참여기업, 유관기관 관계자 등이 한자리에 모여 산학협력의 성과를 공유하고 미래 협력 방향을 함께 모색하는 자리로 마련되었다. 포럼에는 강소지역기업 및 ICC 참여기업 약 60개사를 비롯해 전남테크노파크 등 지역 혁신기관 실무진 등 총 100여 명이 참석해 지역 산업 생태계 강화의 계기를 마련한다.

“산학협력 성과 공유와 미래 협력 방향 제시”

포럼 첫날에는 개회사와 환영사를 시작으로 「국립순천대학교 ICC에게 바란다」 토론회, 유관기관의 기술·사업화 지원제도 소개, 외부 전문가 초청 특강 등이 진행된다.

이어 5개 분야 ICC(△그린스마트팜 △그린바이오 △애니메이션·문화콘텐츠 △우주항공 △첨단소재)에서 올해 수행한 주요 성과를 공유하며, 대학-기업-기관 간 협력 모델의 구체적 진전 사례를 발표한다.

또한 5개 기업협업센터 현판 전달식과 산학협력 우수기업 및 산학협력 우수훈련생 시상식도 진행된다. 기업협업센터별 분과위원회 구성 간담회가 이어져 지속 가능한 운영체계 구축의 기반을 다진다. 기업 간 협력 논의 및 1:1 기술상담도 진행되며, 저녁에는 참석자 전원이 참여하는 네트워킹 만찬을 통해 실질적인 협력 방안을 모색한다.

“기업 맞춤형 기술상담과 협력 네트워크 강화”

둘째 날에는 실무자 소통 강화 간담회, 강소지역기업 포럼, 기업 맞춤형 1:1 기술상담 및 자문단 상담, 종합토론 및 폐회식이 진행된다.

기업들은 현장에서 경험하는 생산·기술·사업화 애로사항을 대학 연구진 및 전문가들과 직접 공유하며 해결 방향을 논의한다. 일부 기업은 향후 공동연구 및 기술개발 추진을 위한 협력 의지를 밝힐 예정이다.

이번 프로그램은 지역 기업의 혁신역량 제고와 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 핵심 플랫폼으로 자리매김할 것으로 기대된다.

송경환 산학협력단장은 "ICC 육성 포럼은 지역 중소기업이 새로운 가능성을 발견하고, 산학협력을 통해 글로벌 시장으로 뻗어나갈 수 있는 중요한 발판"이라며 "대학은 앞으로도 기업의 곁에서 성장 여정을 함께하며 전문 인재를 길러 지역에 정착시키는 데 아낌없이 힘을 보태겠다"고 밝혔다.

국립순천대학교는 향후에도 지역 혁신기관과 함께 유망기업 발굴, 기업 애로 해결, 기술사업화 지원, 혁신 기반 강화를 지속 추진하여 지역 기업이 글로벌 강소기업으로 도약할 수 있는 생태계 조성에 앞장선다는 계획이다.

SCNU to Host the 2025 Industry Collaboration Center (ICC) Development Forum

- Creating new connections for the growth of regional SMEs and university?industry?research collaboration

Sunchon National University (SCNU) announced that it will host the “2025 SCNU Industry Collaboration Center (ICC) Development Forum” from December 11 to 12 at Shilla Stay Yeosu.

The forum is designed to bring together regional small but strong enterprises, ICC partner companies, and related organizations to share the outcomes of university?industry cooperation and explore future directions for collaboration. Around 100 participants, including representatives from approximately 60 regional companies and innovation institutions such as Jeonnam Technopark, are expected to attend, providing momentum for strengthening the regional industrial ecosystem.

On the first day, the forum will open with welcoming remarks, followed by a discussion session titled “What We Expect from SCNU’s ICCs,” presentations on technology and commercialization support programs offered by related institutions, and keynote lectures by external experts. Participants will also review key achievements from the five ICC fields?Green Smart Farm, Green Bio, Animation and Cultural Content, Aerospace, and Advanced Materials?highlighting concrete examples of progress in university?industry?institution collaboration.

The program will also include a plaque presentation ceremony for the five ICCs, award ceremonies recognizing outstanding industry partners and trainees, and meetings to form subcommittees for each ICC to establish a sustainable operational framework. Company-to-company cooperation discussions, one-on-one technical consultations, and a networking dinner will further encourage practical collaboration.

On the second day, the forum will focus on strengthening communication among practitioners through working-level meetings, a regional SME forum, customized one-on-one technical consultations with faculty and expert advisors, a comprehensive discussion session, and a closing ceremony. Participating companies will have the opportunity to share challenges related to production, technology, and commercialization, and to discuss potential solutions directly with university researchers and experts. Some companies are expected to express interest in future joint research and technology development.

SCNU noted that the forum is expected to serve as a key platform for enhancing the innovation capacity and global competitiveness of regional companies.

The head of industry?academic cooperation stated that the ICC Development Forum provides an important foundation for regional SMEs to discover new opportunities and expand into global markets through collaboration with universities, adding that SCNU will continue to support companies by fostering professional talent and helping them take root in the region.

SCNU plans to continue working with regional innovation institutions to identify promising companies, address industry challenges, support technology commercialization, and strengthen innovation capabilities, thereby building an ecosystem that enables regional enterprises to grow into globally competitive companies.
