- 고교학점제 시행에 따른 과목 선택 전략과 진로 설계 정보 제공으로 학부모들의 큰 호응 얻어

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)가 지난 8일 산학협력관 파루홀에서 전남 동부권역 학부모를 대상으로 개최한 ‘2025학년도 국립순천대학교 학부모 진로진학 아카데미’를 성황리에 마무리했다고 밝혔다.

 고교교육 기여대학 지원사업의 일환으로 열린 이번 아카데미는 2026학년도 대학입학전형과 진로 설계 정보를 제공하고, 국립순천대학교의 입학전형 및 주요 사업을 소개하는 등 지역 사회의 진학 준비를 지원했다.

이날 행사는 △국립순천대학교 2026학년도 대입전형 안내(입학사정관 전민하) △‘고교학점제와 입시 성공 전략’ 특강 (강사 윤윤구, 교육부 교육정책 자문위원·EBSi 입시 대표 강사) △Q&A 순으로 진행됐다. 특강에서는 고교학점제 시행에 따른 과목 선택 전략과 대입 성공을 위한 구체적 준비 방법을 제시해 참석자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

아카데미에 참가한 학부모들은 “2022 개정교육과정에 따른 고교학점제와 내신 5등급제 등 급격한 대입 환경 변화로 자녀의 진로지도와 진학 준비에 어려움이 있었는데, 멀리서 와주신 윤윤구 강사님의 특강 덕분에 아이의 진로·진학에 대한 청사진을 그릴 수 있었다”라며, “입시 전략뿐 아니라 아이를 대하는 태도까지 배울 수 있어 더욱 의미 있는 시간이었다”라고 전했다.

국립순천대학교 강희순 입학처장은 “전문가를 초청해 대학 입학 정보와 맞춤형 상담 기회를 제공함으로써, 지역 청소년의 진로 설계와 입시 준비에 실질적 도움이 되었길 바란다”라며, “앞으로도 지역과 함께 성장하는 대학으로서 다양한 교육 지원 프로그램을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 국립순천대학교는 2026학년도 신입생으로 총 1,685명을 모집할 예정이며, 수시모집에서는 1,649명을 모집한다. 오는 9월 8일부터 9월 12일까지 5일간 원서 접수를 진행하며, 자세한 내용은 국립순천대학교 입학안내 홈페이지를 통해 확인할 수 있다.

SCNU Successfully Hosts the 2025 Parent Career & College Admission Academy

- Special lecture by EBSi admissions expert Yoon Yoon-gu draws strong response from parents

Sunchon National University (SCNU, President Lee Byung-woon) announced that it successfully held the 2025 Parent Career & College Admission Academy on August 8 at Paru Hall in the University?Industry Cooperation Building, with parents from the eastern Jeonnam region in attendance. Organized as part of the “University Support for High School Education Contribution Program,” the academy provided information on the 2026 college admissions process and career planning, while also introducing SCNU’s admissions system and key initiatives to support local communities.

The program included an overview of SCNU’s 2026 admission guidelines by admissions officer Jeon Min-ha, a special lecture on “High School Credit System and Strategies for College Admission Success” by Yoon Yoon-gu (Education Policy Advisor to the Ministry of Education and lead admissions lecturer at EBSi), and a Q&A session. The lecture offered concrete strategies for subject selection under the new high school credit system and practical preparation methods for admission success, which received an enthusiastic response from parents.

One participant commented, “With the rapid changes in admissions brought by the 2022 revised curriculum, the high school credit system, and the new GPA grading system, it was difficult to guide my child’s career and admission path. Thanks to Professor Yoon’s lecture, I was able to gain a clearer picture of my child’s future. It was also meaningful to learn not only admission strategies but also how to better support my child.”

Kang Hee-soon, Dean of Admissions at SCNU, said, “By providing expert insights and tailored counseling, we hope this academy has offered practical support for local students and parents. SCNU will continue to expand educational support programs as a university that grows together with the community.”

SCNU plans to recruit 1,685 new students for the 2026 academic year, including 1,649 through early admission. Applications will be accepted from September 8 to 12, with details available on the SCNU admissions website.
