- 퀴즈로 만나는 창업, 더 이상 낯설지 않다

- 개교 90주년, 미래 창업가들과 함께한 도전의 현장

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 지난 5월 14일(수), 교내 도서관에서 ‘2025 글로컬 창업골든벨’을 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 개교 90주년을 기념해 마련된 프로그램으로, 재학생들의 창업에 대한 인식을 제고시키고, 창업지원단이 운영하는 다양한 지원 프로그램을 알리기 위해 기획되었다.

‘글로컬 창업골든벨’은 창업에 대한 진입 장벽을 낮추기 위해, 퀴즈와 아이디어를 결합한 게이미피케이션 형식으로 운영되어 학생들이 창업을 보다 쉽게 이해하고 경험할 수 있도록 구성되었다.

총 55명의 학생이 참여한 이번 대회에서는 ▲창업 기초 지식 ▲국립순천대학교 창업지원 프로그램 ▲지역 및 글로벌 창업 트렌드 등 다양한 주제를 기반으로 문제를 출제하여, 참가자들이 창업에 대한 관심을 높이고 역량을 겨루는 시간을 가졌다.

최종 결과에 따라 1~2위 수상자에게는 국립순천대학교 총장상, 3~6위 수상자에게는 창업지원단장상이 수여되었다.

최정민 창업지원단장은 “앞으로도 학생들의 창업활동에 대한 참여와 도전을 적극적으로 지원할 수 있도록, 글로컬 특화형 창업교육과 실무형 창업캠프, 동아리 활동, 창업장학금, 실전 멘토링 프로그램 등을 지속적으로 운영해 나갈 계획”이라며 “이번 골든벨을 시작으로 대학 중심의 지역창업 생태계를 더욱 활성화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 국립순천대학교 창업지원단은 창업동아리 운영, 초기창업패키지, 창업교육혁신선도대학(SCOUT) 사업, 메이커스페이스 운영 등 ‘창업지원단’을 중심으로 지역과 세계를 연결하는 창업친화형 교육 생태계를 구축하고 있으며, 앞으로도 다양한 실습형 프로그램을 통해 글로컬 창업 인재 양성을 위한 노력을 지속할 계획이다. 창업에 관심 있는 학생과 지역민은 국립순천대학교 창업지원단 홈페이지(http://startup.scnu.ac.kr/)를 통해 보다 자세한 정보를 확인할 수 있다.

Sunchon National University Hosts the “2025 Glocal Startup Golden Bell” to Foster Entrepreneurial Spirit

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) successfully held the “2025 Glocal Startup Golden Bell” on Wednesday, May 14 at the university library. The event was organized to commemorate the university’s 90th anniversary and to raise awareness of entrepreneurship among students while promoting various startup support programs.

The competition was designed in a gamified format combining quizzes and idea generation to make startup-related content more accessible. By lowering the entry barriers to entrepreneurship, the event enabled students to engage with startup concepts in a fun and approachable way.

A total of 55 students participated in the event. Quiz questions covered a range of topics, including basic knowledge of entrepreneurship, Sunchon National University’s startup support programs, and both local and global startup trends. Through this experience, participants deepened their understanding of the entrepreneurial process and tested their creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Based on their performance, the top two participants were awarded the President’s Award, while the third to sixth place winners received the Startup Support Group Director’s Award. The competition served as both a celebration and a practical exercise in developing startup literacy on campus.

Choi Jung-min, Director of the Startup Support Group, stated, “We plan to continue supporting students’ entrepreneurial journeys through glocalized startup education, hands-on camps, student clubs, scholarships, and real-world mentoring programs. This Golden Bell event marks a meaningful starting point for building a university-led regional startup ecosystem.”

Sunchon National University’s Startup Support Group has been at the forefront of creating a startup-friendly education environment, operating programs such as startup clubs, the Early Startup Package, the SCOUT initiative (Startup-Centered University for Transforming Education), and Makerspaces.
