- 식품기업과 농업 간 상생협력 도모…지역 농산물 유통 및 경쟁력 강화 기대

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 전남농촌융복합산업지원센터(센터장, 농업경제학과 교수 송경환)가 지난 30일 산학협력관에서 ‘2025년도 농업과 기업 간 연계강화 사업 업무협약식 및 사업 대상자 교육’을 성공적으로 진행했다고 밝혔다.

‘농업과 기업 간 연계강화 사업’은 총사업비 6억 8천만 원(국비 3억 4천만 원, 지방비 3억 4천만 원) 규모로, 식품기업의 국산 원료 사용을 촉진하고 기업의 경영노하우를 농업계에 전수함으로써 농업과 식품 산업 간 상생협력을 촉진하는 것을 목표로 한다.

이번 협약식은 전남농촌융복합산업지원센터 송경환 센터장과 올해 연계강화 사업 대상자 20여 명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다. 본 행사는 농산업 발전을 위한 지원체계를 구축하고, 지역 농산물의 판로 확대 및 참여 기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 협력 기반을 마련하는 데 중점을 두었다.

협약을 통해 전남농촌융복합산업지원센터와 2025년도 사업 대상자들은 △지역 농산물 사용 장려 △사업의 안정적 운영 △사업비의 청렴한 집행 등을 위한 협력을 약속했다. 이어 진행된 사업 대상자 교육에서는 향후 사업 추진 일정 및 운영 방향에 대해 공유하고, 센터와 국립순천대가 운영 중인 관련 농업인 지원 사업들을 함께 소개하는 자리가 마련되었다.

특히 교육 현장에서는 ‘제1회 농업과 기업 간 상생협력 성과공유대회’에서 농림축산식품부 장관상을 수상한 ㈜쿠키아(대표 김명신)의 우수사례가 소개됐다. ㈜쿠키아는 2023년 연계강화 사업에 참여해 △매출 성장(23억 원 → 41억 원) △지역 고용 확대(24명 → 30명) △지역 관광 활성화(직영 카페 운영) 등 성과를 달성하며 주목을 받았다.

송경환 센터장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 전남의 우수한 농산물이 전국 각지에서 더욱 널리 활용되기를 바란다”라며, “지속 가능한 농업-기업 상생모델 구축에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

Sunchon National University Holds 2025 Business-Agriculture Partnership Agreement and Training Session

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) announced that its Jeonnam Center for Rural Convergence Industry, led by Professor Kyunghwan Song (Department of Agricultural Economics), successfully hosted the 2025 Business-Agriculture Linkage Project Agreement Ceremony and Training Session on April 30 at the university's Industry-Academic Cooperation Building.

The project, with a total budget of KRW 680 million (approximately KRW 340 million each from national and local funds), aims to foster win-win cooperation between the agriculture and food industries by promoting the use of domestic agricultural products and transferring business management know-how from companies to the agricultural sector.

The agreement ceremony was attended by over 20 project participants and focused on establishing a support system to expand market access for local agricultural products and enhance the competitiveness of participating companies. The center and this year’s participants agreed to cooperate on promoting the use of local produce, ensuring transparent budget execution, and operating the project efficiently.

The training session also introduced upcoming project schedules and related agricultural support initiatives run by the center and Sunchon National University. A highlight of the session was the presentation of a success case by Cookia Co., Ltd., which received a Minister’s Award at the 1st Business-Agriculture Partnership Best Practices Forum. The company reported notable outcomes from its 2023 participation, including sales growth (KRW 2.3 billion to KRW 4.1 billion), job creation (24 to 30 employees), and local tourism promotion through a caf? business.

Director Song remarked, “We hope this agreement will lead to the broader distribution of high-quality agricultural products from Jeonnam across the country,” and added, “We are committed to building a sustainable cooperation model between agriculture and industry.”
