… 심리상담 핵심 역량인 ‘사례개념화’의 이론과 실제 공유 -

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 교내 학생상담센터 소속 상담원을 대상으로 ‘상담을 구조화하는 힘: 사례개념화 특강’을 성공적으로 개최했다고 밝혔다.

 이번 특강은 상담 현장에서 반복적으로 마주하는 다양한 심리적 문제를 더욱 체계적으로 이해하고 개입하기 위한 상담자의 핵심 역량인 ‘사례개념화(case conceptualization)’ 능력을 강화하고자 기획되었다.

강사로는 명지대학교 임지숙 교수(심리학 박사)가 초청되어, 사례개념화의 이론적 기초와 실제 적용 사례를 중심으로 실질적인 접근법을 제시하였다. 특히 상담 초기 단계에 내담자의 문제를 통합적으로 파악하고, 상담 목표 및 전략을 설정하는 과정에 대한 구체적인 프레임을 제공하여 큰 호응을 얻었다.

특강에 참여한 상담원들은 “복잡한 내담자의 이야기를 어떻게 정리하고 개입으로 연결할지에 대한 실마리를 얻었다”, “이론과 실제를 연결하는 유익한 시간이었으며, 실제 상담에 바로 적용할 수 있는 내용이 많았다”라며 높은 만족도를 보였다.

국립순천대 황성철 학생상담센터장은 “상담자의 사례개념화 역량은 내담자 맞춤형 개입의 기반이 되는 중요한 과정”이라며, “이번 특강을 통해 상담원들이 보다 전문적이고 통찰력 있는 상담을 이어갈 수 있기를 기대한다”라고 밝혔다.한편, 국립순천대학교 학생상담센터는 앞으로도 상담자의 전문성 향상을 위한 다양한 교육 프로그램을 지속해서 제공해 나갈 계획이다.

Sunchon National University Holds Special Lecture on Case Conceptualization for Counseling Staff

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) successfully held a special lecture titled "The Power of Structuring Counseling: Case Conceptualization" for counselors affiliated with its Student Counseling Center.

The lecture aimed to strengthen core competencies in case conceptualization, a fundamental skill for understanding and addressing complex psychological issues in counseling practice. Professor Ji-Sook Lim, Ph.D. in Psychology from Myongji University, was invited as the guest lecturer. She provided both theoretical foundations and practical frameworks, particularly focusing on early-stage counseling strategies for assessing clients and setting goals.

Participants responded positively, noting the immediate applicability of the content and its value in bridging theory and practice. Director Hwang Sung-chul of the Counseling Center emphasized that case conceptualization is essential for personalized intervention, and reaffirmed the center's commitment to providing ongoing professional development opportunities.
