국립순천대학교(총장 이병운) 대학일자리플러스센터는 지난 4월 28일 교내에서 ‘청년고용정책 데이’ 프로그램을 성공적으로 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 청년들에게 다양한 고용정책 정보를 제공하고, 맞춤형 취업 지원 서비스를 알리기 위해 마련됐다.

행사에는 250명이 넘는 학생들이 참여했으며, 대학일자리플러스센터를 비롯해 산학협력단 공동훈련센터와 국제커리어센터가 함께해 청년고용정책에 대한 전문적인 정보를 제공했다. 국제커리어센터는 국민취업지원제도 설명회를 진행했고, 공동훈련센터는 디지털 인재 양성을 위한 ‘K-디지털 트레이닝’을 소개해 큰 호응을 얻었다.

또한 행사장에서는 현장 상담이 함께 진행됐으며, 상담에 참여한 학생들에게는 커피를 제공하는 이벤트도 열려 높은 만족도를 얻었다. 특히, 이번 상담을 통해 청년고용정책에 대한 학생들의 이해도를 높이고, 개인별 맞춤형 지원제도에 직접 신청하는 등의 실질적인 성과도 나타났다.

정정조 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “청년고용정책 데이는 10월말까지 월 2회 내외로 학생들과 지역 청년을 대상으로 지속 운영할 계획”이라며, “앞으로도 다양한 취업 지원 프로그램과 기회를 제공하기 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 국립순천대 대학일자리플러스센터 사업은 고용노동부로부터 2024년부터 5년간 총 15억 원의 사업비를 지원받아 운영 중이며, 관련 프로그램은 국립순천대 진로취업지원포털(https://jobs.scnu.ac.kr) 및 인스타그램(@scnu_jobplus)을 통해 확인할 수 있다.

Sunchon National University Successfully Hosts "Youth Employment Policy Day"

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) announced that its University Job Plus Center successfully hosted the "Youth Employment Policy Day" on April 28 on campus. The event aimed to provide students with comprehensive information on youth employment policies and to promote customized career support services.

More than 250 students participated in the event. The University Job Plus Center, Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation's Joint Training Center, and International Career Center collaborated to offer professional guidance on various employment policies. The International Career Center conducted a briefing session on the National Employment Support Program, while the Joint Training Center introduced the "K-Digital Training" program designed to foster digital talent, both receiving positive responses from students.

On-site career counseling was also provided, with additional incentives such as complimentary coffee for participants, enhancing overall satisfaction. Through the consultations, students gained a deeper understanding of youth employment policies and many successfully applied for personalized government support programs.

Jeong Jeong-jo, Director of the University Job Plus Center, stated, "We plan to continue operating the Youth Employment Policy Day twice a month until the end of October, offering diverse employment support programs and opportunities for students and local youth."

The University Job Plus Center at Sunchon National University operates with a five-year, KRW 1.5 billion grant from the Ministry of Employment and Labor starting in 2024.
