- 전국 최다 인증경영체 보유한 전남6차센터, 경영체 맞춤형 코칭으로 농촌산업 경쟁력 강화

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 전남농촌융복합산업지원센터(센터장 송경환, 이하 전남6차센터)가 오는 4월 18일부터 ‘2025년도 제2차 농촌융복합산업 현장코칭 사업’ 신청 접수를 시작한다고 밝혔다.

‘농촌융복합산업 현장코칭’ 사업은 농촌융복합산업 인증 경영체를 비롯해 가공제품 생산, 체험장 운영 등 농촌융복합산업에 종사하는 농업인을 대상으로, 경영 및 기술 역량을 강화하고 현장 애로사항을 해소하기 위한 맞춤형 코칭 프로그램이다.

해당 사업은 △경영(마케팅·디자인·재무·수출 등) △기술(제품개발·공장 신증축·품질관리 등) 분야는 물론, 신청자가 원하는 주제에 따라 맞춤형 코칭이 가능하다. 코칭 유형은 ①일반코칭(단기) ②제품 컨설팅 및 디자인 코칭 ③보육매니저 코칭(장기) 등 세 가지로 구성되며, 필요에 따라 선택해 신청할 수 있다.

특히 지난해(2024년)에는 농촌융복합산업 미인증 경영체를 위한 ‘설계 코칭’을 포함해 연간 500건 이상의 코칭이 진행되었으며, 평균 만족도는 95점 이상을 기록해 매년 높은 재신청률을 유지하고 있다.

지난해 신청 자격이 인증사업자 중심으로 한시적으로 축소되었으나, 올해부터는 다시 확대되어 농촌융복합산업을 추진 중인 모든 농업인이 참여할 수 있도록 문턱을 낮췄다.

전남6차센터는 전국 6차산업지원센터 중 2020년부터 2023년까지 4년 연속 전국 성과평가 1위를 기록한 바 있으며, 2024년 역시 우수 성과를 달성하여 최다 사업비를 배정 받아 운영 중이다. 아울러 청년농, 귀농귀촌인 등을 위한 교육·멘토링 프로그램과 상시 모니터링을 통해 2025년 1월 기준 전국 최다인 427개소의 인증경영체를 보유하고 있다.

송경환 센터장은 “농촌융복합산업에 대한 인식이 농업인들 사이에서도 빠르게 확산되고 있다”며, “센터의 현장코칭 사업이 개별 기업의 실질적인 문제 해결과 지속 가능한 성장으로 이어져 농촌 경제 활성화에 기여하길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

SCNU’s Jeonnam 6th Industry Support Center Opens Applications for the 2025 On-site Coaching Program

Suncheon National University (President Byung-Woon Lee) announced that the Jeonnam Center for the Advancement of Rural Convergence Industry (Director Kyunghwan Song), also known as the Jeonnam 6th Industry Center, will begin accepting applications for the 2nd round of the 2025 On-site Coaching Program starting April 18.

The program offers customized coaching services for farmers and entrepreneurs engaged in rural convergence industries?such as certified 6th industry businesses, processed goods producers, and agrotourism operators. The aim is to enhance their business and technical capabilities while solving real-world operational challenges.

The coaching covers a broad range of topics including: Business management (marketing, design, finance, export, etc.), Technical support (product development, factory construction, quality control, etc.), Customized topics requested by applicants. Applicants can choose from three coaching types: General Coaching (Short-Term), Product Consulting & Design Coaching, Incubation Manager Coaching (Long-Term)

In 2024, over 500 coaching sessions were conducted, including a new “design coaching” track for uncertified businesses, achieving a satisfaction rate of over 95% and consistently high re-application rates. While participation was previously limited to certified businesses, eligibility has now expanded in 2025 to include all farmers engaged in related industries, making the program more accessible.

The Jeonnam 6th Industry Center has ranked #1 nationally for four consecutive years (2020-2023) among Korea’s regional centers and continues to lead in 2024 with the highest allocated project funding. As of January 2025, it also holds the largest number of certified 6th industry enterprises (427) nationwide, supported by specialized mentoring and monitoring for young farmers and return-to-farm entrepreneurs.

Director Song stated, “Awareness of rural convergence industries is rapidly growing among farmers. We hope this on-site coaching program will help businesses resolve practical challenges and promote sustainable growth, ultimately revitalizing the rural economy.”
