- 순천효산고 재학생 90명 대상 실전형 취업역량 강화

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 지난 7일과 14일 이틀간, 특성화고 지역청년을 대상으로 취업지원 서비스 ‘취업역량 Jump Up 캠프’ 프로그램을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 지역 내 순천효산고등학교 재학생 90명 대상으로, 1차와 2차에 걸쳐 운영된 실전형 취업역량 강화 캠프다. 특히 국립순천대학교 대학일자리플러스센터와 순천효산고 산학일체형도제부 간의 지속적인 협의를 통해 수요자 맞춤형 프로그램을 기획·운영한 점에서 큰 의미가 있다.

주요 프로그램으로는 △직무분석 및 기업분석 △직무 경험 정리 △ChatGPT를 활용한 입사지원서 특강 △입사지원서 작성 실습 △자기소개서 1:1 컨설팅 등이 운영되었으며, 실습 중심의 교육으로 학생들의 취업 실전 감각을 높였다.

관광외식서비스과에 재학 중인 한 참가 학생은 “이력서와 자기소개서 작성이 막연하게 느껴졌는데, 이번 캠프를 통해 제 직무 경험을 구체화하고 자신 있게 입사지원서를 작성할 수 있게 됐다”며, “특히 1:1 컨설팅을 통해 1분 자기소개 팁도 얻을 수 있어 유익했다”고 소감을 전했다.

대학일자리플러스센터 정정조 센터장은 “이번 캠프를 통해 지역 청년들에게 센터의 기능을 알리고, 지역청년특화 취업지원 프로그램에 관한 세부 정보를 제공했다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있었다”며 “앞으로도 순천대 재학생과 졸업생뿐만 아니라, 타 대학생·특성화고교생 및 전역예정군인 등 다양한 구직 청년을 위한 맞춤형 취업지원을 지속해 나갈 것”이라고 밝혔다.

한편, 국립순천대학교는 2023년 교육부 글로컬대학30에 선정되며, 강소지역기업 500개 육성과 취·창업률 80% 달성을 목표로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 전라남도, 순천시 등 지자체 및 순천고용복지플러스센터, 전남테크노파크 등 유관 기관과 긴밀한 협력체계를 구축해 나가고 있다.

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) conducted the "Employment Competency Jump-Up Camp" on May 7 and 14, targeting local youth from specialized high schools. The two-day, hands-on program was attended by 90 students from Suncheon Hyosan High School and aimed to strengthen practical job-seeking skills.

The camp was jointly organized by the university's Career Plus Center and the school's work-study partnership program, reflecting a collaborative effort to design a customized curriculum. Key sessions included job and company analysis, resume writing workshops, a special lecture on using ChatGPT for job applications, and one-on-one self-introduction coaching.

A student from the Tourism and Hospitality Services Department commented that the program helped clarify how to present past job experience and write a confident application.

Jung Jeong-jo, Director of the Career Plus Center, emphasized that the program raised awareness about the center's support services and reinforced its commitment to tailored employment support for a broad range of job seekers, including university students, graduates, vocational high school students, and veterans.

Sunchon National University was selected as part of the Ministry of Education’s Glocal University 30 initiative in 2023 and aims to foster 500 small but strong local enterprises and achieve an 80% employment and entrepreneurship rate through close collaboration with local governments and employment agencies.
