- 부부 소통 분석, 아로마 클래스, 가정실습 등 다채로운 체험

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)가 순천시로부터 수탁 운영 중인 순천시가족센터는 지난 4월 24일부터 5월 7일까지 총 3회기에 걸쳐 순천시에 거주하는 결혼 3년 이내 신혼기 부부 15가족(30명)을 대상으로 부부교육 프로그램을 성공적으로 운영했다.

 이번 프로그램은 순천시가족센터 홈페이지를 통해 사전 신청을 받아 참여자를 모집했으며, 신혼부부의 건강한 소통과 유대감 증진을 위해 매 회기 다양한 주제와 체험을 통해 부부 간 이해를 높이는 시간을 마련했다.

1회기에는 ‘부부 소통 분석’을 주제로, 민스피치 교육연구소의 최민아 강사가 진행했으며, 부부 레크리에이션 활동과 TA 교류 분석 검사를 통해 서로의 성격과 소통방식을 이해하고 효과적인 의사소통 방법을 익혔다.

2회기는 ‘아로마와 함께하는 부부 소통 클래스’의 주제로 리풀리움 대표 정수현 강사가 진행했다. 향을 매개로 감정과 생각을 나누고, 서로가 만든 아로마 오일을 활용해 손 마사지 활동도 진행하며 심신의 안정을 도모하고 부부 간 유대감을 강화했다.

마지막 3회기는 ‘가정실습’으로 진행됐으며, 부부 사진으로 제작된 드로잉 편지를 활용해 가정 내에서 서로의 마음을 표현하는 시간을 가졌다.

프로그램에 참여한 신혼부부는 “평소 나누지 못했던 서로의 생각을 공유하며 서로를 더 깊이 이해하고 알아갈 수 있는 시간이었다. 3회기 부부교육으로 마음과 몸 모두 어루만질 수 있는 시간이 되어 뜻깊었다.”며 프로그램에 대해 높은 만족도를 보였다.

  박애리 순천시가족센터장은 “이번 부부교육이 신혼부부가 서로를 더 깊이 이해하고 건강한 관계를 형성하는 데 도움이 되었기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 다양한 가족 지원 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영하겠다”고 전했다.

 한편, 순천시가족센터는 순천시민의 가족관계 향상과 복지 증진을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 부부교육은 생애주기별 맞춤 교육을 지원하기 위해 신혼기 부부교육뿐만 아닌 예비 부모 부부교육, 자녀 양육기 부부교육이 진행될 예정이다. 프로그램 참여 신청 및 프로그램 구성 등 자세한 사항은 순천시가족센터 홈페이지(https://suncheon.familynet.or.kr)에서 확인할 수 있다.

Sunchon National University Successfully Conducts Marital Education Program for Newlywed Couples in Suncheon

Sunchon National University's Sunchon City Family Center, which is commissioned by the city of Suncheon, successfully ran a marital education program for newlywed couples from April 24 to May 7. A total of 15 couples (30 individuals) residing in Suncheon and married for less than three years participated in the three-session program.

Participants were recruited through pre-registration on the Family Center’s website. The program was designed to promote healthy communication and strengthen emotional bonds between spouses, with each session offering themed discussions and hands-on experiences to deepen mutual understanding.

In the first session, titled “Analyzing Couple Communication,” instructor Min-A Choi from Min Speech Education Research Center guided participants through recreational activities and TA (Transactional Analysis) assessments to explore communication styles and personality traits.

The second session, “Aromatherapy Communication Class,” was led by Su-Hyun Jung, CEO of Repllium. Couples shared their thoughts and feelings through scents and gave each other hand massages using personalized aroma oils, fostering emotional relaxation and intimacy.

The final session involved a home-based activity called “Drawing Letters,” in which couples expressed their affection through illustrated messages using photos of themselves.

Participants shared highly positive feedback, saying, “We had meaningful moments of emotional and physical healing. It was a rare opportunity to openly share thoughts and deepen our understanding of one another.”

Director Ae-Ri Park of the Sunchon City Family Center stated, “We hope this program has helped newlywed couples build healthier, more empathetic relationships. We will continue to offer various family support programs tailored to each life stage.”
