- 심화 과정, 이론과 실습 병행…기숙시설 및 식사 제공으로 경제적 부담 최소화

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운)는 2024년 농식품부에서 선정한 ‘스마트농업 전문인력 교육기관(시설원예 분야)’으로서 스마트농업 전문인력 양성 프로그램(심화과정) 수강생을 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 심화 교육과정은 국립순천대학교 산학협력단에서 진행되며, ICT기반의 첨단 농업 기술에 대한 교육이 중점적으로 이루어진다. 교육은 농업 현장에서 바로 적용 가능한 실무 중심의 강의로 구성되며, 스마트농업 분야의 학계 및 현장 전문가들이 참여해 이론뿐만 아니라 현장 중심의 실습을 통해 교육생들의 실무 역량을 강화할 예정이다.

본 교육은 전국민 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 총 40시간의 교육이 제공된다. 교육은 이론 20시간(비대면 8시간 + 대면 12시간)과 실습 20시간으로 구성되며, 수강생들의 시간적 제약을 고려해 비대면 교육을 포함시켜 더 유연한 학습이 가능하다.

모집 기간은 오는 4월 30일까지이며, 교육 정원은 20명으로 제한된다. 모집과 관련된 자세한 내용, 교육 일정, 수강 신청서 등은 공식 홈페이지(https://smartfarm.scnu.ac.kr/)에서 확인할 수 있다.

수강생들의 정주조건 마련을 위하여 기숙시설과 식사를 제공하며, 교육에 필요한 모든 제반사항은 무료로 지원하는 등 수강생들의 경제 부담을 최소화하고 실질적인 학습에 집중할 수 있는 환경을 제공할 예정이다.

본 사업의 책임자 이명훈 교수는 “단순히 농업 지식을 전달하는 것을 넘어, 내실을 다지고 현장을 이해할 수 있는 교육을 만들기 위하여 농업인의 눈높이에서 교육을 수행하고, 농업의 미래를 선도할 수 있는 인력을 양성하겠다”라고 본 교육의 의의와 목표를 다시 한번 밝혔다.

한편, ‘스마트농업 전문인력 양성 교육(자격 취득 과정)’은 오는 11월 중에 실시될 예정이다.

Sunchon National University to Offer Advanced Training Program for Smart Agriculture Specialists

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon), designated as a "Smart Agriculture Training Institution (Facility Horticulture Sector)" by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in 2024, has announced the recruitment of participants for its advanced-level Smart Agriculture Specialist Training Program.

The program will be conducted by the university’s Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, with a strong focus on ICT-based advanced agricultural technologies. The curriculum is designed to be practice-oriented, providing hands-on knowledge that can be immediately applied in the field. Both academic scholars and on-site professionals in smart agriculture will lead the courses, offering a balanced approach of theory and practical training to enhance participants’ job-ready skills.

Open to all citizens nationwide, the program consists of 40 hours of instruction: 20 hours of theory (8 hours online and 12 hours in-person) and 20 hours of practical training. By incorporating online lectures, the program accommodates participants' diverse schedules and promotes flexible learning.

Applications are open until April 30, and the program is limited to 20 participants. Detailed information, the training schedule, and application forms are available on the official website (https://smartfarm.scnu.ac.kr/). 

To support participants’ settlement during the training period, dormitory accommodations and meals will be provided. All program costs, including training materials and living expenses, will be fully covered to minimize financial burdens and enable learners to focus on their education. The Smart Agriculture Certificate Training Program is scheduled to take place in November.
