- 인문사회계열 현장실습 활성화 및 사회적경제기업 지원 협력

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운) 위험사회 컨소시엄 인문사회융합인재양성사업단(이하 위험사회 HUSS 사업단)은 지난 3월 27일 순천시와 업무협약을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 사업단의 교과 프로그램인 ‘표준현장실습학기제’의 활성화와 사회적경제기업의 역량 강화 지원을 위한 것으로, 위험사회 HUSS 사업단장과 순천시 미래산업국 관계자 등이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

협약 주요 내용은 ▲원활한 현장실습 운영을 위한 행정적 지원 ▲우수 실습 참여 학생 선발 및 지도 협력 등으로, 양 기관은 긴밀한 협력을 통해 실질적인 교육적·사회적 성과 창출을 도모할 계획이다.

사업단은 순천시 사회적경제통합지원센터와 협력해 현장실습에 참여할 사회적경제기업을 모집하고, 이번 여름 계절학기부터 실습을 희망하는 인문·사회계열 재학생과 매칭하여 현장 실습 교육을 본격적으로 운영할 예정이다.

김선명 사업단장은 “이번 협약을 통해 인문·사회계열 학생들에게 보다 다양한 현장 실습 기회를 제공할 수 있게 되어 뜻깊다”며, “실습 경험이 학생들의 직무 역량 향상과 진로 탐색에 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 위험사회 HUSS 사업단은 국립순천대학교를 비롯해 선문대학교, 세종대학교, 순천향대학교, 국립한밭대학교가 컨소시엄을 구성해 융합인재 양성을 목표로 다양한 교과 및 비교과 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 교육부와 한국연구재단의 지원으로 2023년부터 사업을 본격 추진하고 있다.

Sunchon National University HUSS Program Signs MOU with Suncheon City to Expand Field Training for Humanities and Social Sciences Students

On March 27, the Humanities Utmost Sharing System (HUSS) Program under the Risk Society Consortium at Sunchon National University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Suncheon City.

The agreement aims to promote the university’s “Standard Field Training Semester Program” and support the capacity-building of social economy enterprises. The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from the HUSS Program and Suncheon City’s Future Industry Bureau.

Key areas of collaboration include administrative support for smooth implementation of field training and joint efforts to select and guide outstanding student participants. Both institutions intend to work closely together to achieve meaningful educational and social outcomes.

Starting in the summer semester of 2025, the HUSS Program will collaborate with the Suncheon Social Economy Integrated Support Center to recruit participating enterprises and match them with humanities and social sciences students seeking field training opportunities.

Program Director Kim Sun-myung stated, “We are pleased to offer more diverse and meaningful field training opportunities for humanities and social sciences students through this partnership. We hope these experiences will help students enhance their job skills and explore future career paths.”

The HUSS Program is a consortium of five universities; Sunchon National University, Sunmoon University, Sejong University, Soonchunhyang University, and Hanbat National University, launched in 2023 with support from the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea. It provides a range of curricular and extracurricular programs aimed at fostering interdisciplinary talent.
