표준현장실습학기제 운영 관계자와 산학협력협의회 개최

국립순천대학교(총장 이병운) 위험사회 컨소시엄 인문사회융합인재양성사업단(이하 ‘위험사회 HUSS 사업단’)은 지난 7월 16일 순천시, 순천시 사회적경제통합지원센터, 순천시 사회적경제 기업 관계자를 대상으로 ‘2025년도 제1차 산학협력협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 산학협력협의회는 2025년 여름학기 표준현장실습학기제 운영 관계자들이 모여 원활한 현장실습 운영과 의견 공유를 하기 위해 마련되었다. 개회사를 시작으로 관계자 라운드 테이블, 안건 회의, 질의응답 등이 진행됐으며, 순천시청 사회적경제팀, 순천시 사회적경제통합지원센터, 사회적경제 기업 대표 등 23명이 참석해 현장 실습과 인재 양성 방향에 대해 심도 있는 논의를 이어갔다.

특히 ▲현장실습 운영 방식에 관한 자유발언 ▲산학협력협의회의 지속적인 운영 방안 논의 ▲사회적경제 기업에서 필요로 하는 인재상 공유 ▲지산학 협력을 통한 지역 인재 양성 등에 대한 논의가 활발하게 진행되었다.

국립순천대학교 김선명 사업단장은 “국립순천대학교 학생들이 졸업 후 지역을 떠나지 않고 순천에 정착해 활동하기를 바란다”며 “지자체와 기업, 대학이 함께 협력해 위험사회에 대비할 수 있는 글로컬 융합인재상을 공유하고 이를 위한 실습이 이루어진다면 지역사회 발전에 기여할 수 있을 것”이라고 전했다.

한편, 위험사회 HUSS 사업단은 국립순천대학교를 비롯해 선문대, 세종대, 순천향대, 국립한밭대가 함께 컨소시엄을 구성해 2023년부터 교육부와 한국연구재단의 지원으로 운영되고 있다. 인문사회 기반의 융합 교육을 통해 사회적 실천 역량을 갖춘 인재 양성을 목표로 다양한 교육 프로그램을 추진 중이다.

Sunchon National University’s Risk Society HUSS Project Group Holds First Industry-Academia Cooperation Council for 2025

? Strengthening collaboration with Suncheon City and social economy partners to advance field-based education and regional talent development

Sunchon National University (President Lee Byung-woon) announced that the Risk Society Humanities and Social Science Convergence Talent Cultivation Project Group (hereinafter “Risk Society HUSS Project Group”) held its first Industry-Academia Cooperation Council of 2025 on July 16, bringing together officials from Suncheon City, the Suncheon Social Economy Integrated Support Center, and representatives of local social economy enterprises. The meeting was organized to coordinate the upcoming Standard Field Practice Semester scheduled for the 2025 summer term and to promote deeper dialogue among those involved in its implementation.

The council began with an opening address, followed by a roundtable discussion, agenda presentations, and an open Q&A session. A total of 23 stakeholders participated, including officials from Suncheon City’s social economy division, staff from the Integrated Support Center, and heads of social economy organizations. Together, they discussed practical approaches to improving the structure and management of field-based education, shared views on the characteristics of talent needed by local enterprises, and explored ways to build sustainable cooperation models between universities, municipalities, and industries. In particular, the council emphasized the importance of expanding long-term collaboration through the Industry-Academia Council, enhancing alignment between educational goals and on-site training, and reinforcing the shared role of academia and the community in fostering regionally grounded, socially responsive professionals.

Kim Sun-myung, Director of the Risk Society HUSS Project Group, remarked that the ultimate goal is to support students in building their futures within the Suncheon region after graduation. He expressed hope that collaborative efforts between the university, local government, and industry would shape a new model of glocal, convergence-based talent equipped to respond to the challenges of a risk society, ultimately contributing to the sustainable development of the community.

The Risk Society HUSS Project Group is a national consortium supported by the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea since 2023. Led by Sunchon National University, the consortium includes Sunmoon University, Sejong University, Soonchunhyang University, and Hanbat National University. It promotes convergence-based education rooted in the humanities and social sciences, with the aim of cultivating practical, socially engaged talent capable of responding to complex societal risks.
