The objective of the College of Education is to develop competent secondary school teachers who can contribute to development of the democratic society with integrated thinking abilities based on theories of each major and practical teaching skills as well as a strong sense of duty.
With the systematic education systems, the College has ensured a high success rate for the teacher qualification examination and contributed to diverse national education areas.

About the Department

Home page

The Department of Environmental Education aims at development of competent educators by providing extensive knowledge of humanities and social science and also various teaching methods.
  • To acquire extensive knowledge of the ecosystem and develop a right sense of values
  • To obtain knowledge of natural science relating to environmental pollution so as to contribute to prevention and treatment of environmental pollution
  • To develop the capability to assess the geographical, social, and economic impact of the environment in a reasonable and reliable way
  • To have the capability to do research and develop various textbooks and teaching methods for efficient environmental education
  • To develop the capability to improve environmental awareness of the public and make known methods of environmental conservation
