The College of Humanities and Arts is developing experts equipped with a comprehensive perspective and problem-solving abilities needed for the culture industry, which is becoming more significant in the 21st-century information age. By integrating the humanities with various areas of arts, the College aims to develop holistic/cultural human resources who can contribute to advancement of the culture industry.
The objective of the Fashion Design Department is to develop experts who can increase added value of fashion products, utilizing new materials and technologies, along with development of modern science. The curricula are composed of the clothing material study, costume design through theoretical education and training programs, production of clothing, and marketing for effective production/consumption of clothing, contributing to efficient utilization of materials for the nation and human society.
