The purpose of modern economics is to pursue growth, stability, and equity while presenting a customized vision for the development of human society.
The Department provides education/training to develop experts with deep understanding of economics, reasonable judgment, and a practical mind.
The students are encouraged to learn theoretical/applied economics to understand economic phenomena from the socio-scientific point of view and with practicality for effective application.
They are offered opportunities to study other relevant fields such as accounting, business administration, and commerce/trade so as to compare and analyze social/economic phenomena in a comprehensive way and apply the knowledge to various careers.
