The Department of Bioenvironmental Science aims at developing technologies that can improve the productivity of biological resources and preserve the environment through basic science (biology, chemistry, and environmental science) and biotechnology and also professionals who can develop technologies for eco-friendly control of the production environment, environmental preservation/restoration, and bio-resources production/processing through genetic engineering. In particular, this field of study is suitable for those who are deeply interested in and have enthusiasm for the biological environment.

Students receive systematic, tailored support for employment, obtaining two or more licenses, and acquiring a certain level of language skills, as well as on-the-job training to obtain practical expertise. Special lectures by experts from relevant enterprises and field trips to public institutions are arranged on a regular basis.
