The College of Life Science and Natural Resources aims at developing professional human resources who can offer practical expertise in the bio-industry and advanced agriculture, and also to solve problems pertaining to these areas by studying sophistication of agricultural production, advanced agricultural technologies, and effective utilization of agricultural resources.
With regard to life science, the College provides education for modern biology, improved productivity for bio-resources, environmental preservation, and development of the bio-industry.
Forest Resources is a field of study for maximizing the economic and environmental functions of forests by creating, managing, and utilizing them in the most efficient way. This study includes development of forest resources and plants, breeding and afforestation, management and policies for forest resources, prevention of forest disasters and forest engineering, conservation of wildlife, forest recreation and an urban forest, processing and utilization of forest resources. Majoring in Forest Resources aims to assist students in becoming expert and scientists who can improve the roles and functions of forests in an effort to enhance the quality of our life.
